Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in Lego

Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull in Lego

Are there any take backs for prior blog posts? 🤗 Tee hee, I’ve changed my mind on Betrayal at Cloud City (75222) and I’m now adding it to my Lego wish list. I’ll need to patiently wait for the double VIP promotion as it helps fund future brick purchases. I’m really hoping that it runs in October but I’m in no real rush. We’re busy as bees behind the scenes at Gray Cow so it’s probably best to avoid the distraction of Cloud City…for now.

Anyhoo, this is our last and final Indiana Jones entry. Although the movie isn’t all that great, the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull sets are pretty awesome. For instance, the Temple of the Crystal Skull (7627) was designed with hours of fun in mind from the bursting temple stairs to the falling skulls to the swinging machete swords to the spinning skeletal platform. And that’s not all, it’s pleasing to the eyes as well with maroon accents that pop against the tan and beige tones. It’s so, so good and just one of the reasons why I ❤️ Lego. 😎
