Lord of the Rings in Lego: Part One

The Lord of the Rings in Lego: Part One

Ham always jokes and teases that he waited three years to watch the Lord of the Rings trilogy while I binge watched it in the span of ✌🏻 days. Tee hee. 😊 On top of that, I’m a Johnny-come-lately to LoTR. Ham, on the other hand, read the Tolkien tomes in high school so he was a fanboy years before I was introduced to the trilogy. I won’t fib though, I’m glad that I didn’t have to wait three years. Sorry, Ham. 😋

The Lord of the Rings and Hobbit sets were released between 2012 to 2014. Lego quietly retired the two themes shortly thereafter but a few LoTR minifigures popped-up a year later in Dimensions sets. It’s been crickets since but I remain hopeful that Lego will revive the two themes after reading the news surrounding the happy return of Harry Potter later this year.⚡️
